I can't agree man, the sound makes such a difference. but it's one of those things you don't miss till it's gone.

me use this example because it happened like a day ago. I saw the hurt
locker in theaters and decided to download it (I'll buy it when it
comes out) and started playing it on my computer, there was something
missing, the movie has an awesome bass track, so I brought my laptop
into the basement and watched it on my tv with my 5.1 system and it was
perfect.
admittedly the sound is less important than the
pictures but the sound is very important, think about a movie like 300,
it's full of those epic, goosebump educing scenes but if you take out
the soundtrack it just doesn't have the same power. |
