Shows so bad that simply hearing the theme song sends you into a rage that can only be calmed by changing the station.

Picture related. Its the most unfunny shit I've ever seen. Seriously I find myself laughing at House of Payne more often than this bullshit.

I'll agree with Friends. Although I'm probably not their target audience, I don't have any.

Season 1 of Friends is awesome, some of the funniest dialogue ever. It all turned to shit in Season 2, though.

I am irrevocably convinced that most (not all) of the posts affirming Friends' "quality" are samefaggotry.

That said, Friends is one of the least funny shows I've seen and I will go to my grave wondering why it had so much as a second season.

Because it was a funny, feel good show.

Goddamnit i hate this place sometimes.

I get the "feel good" part. You don't have any friends so it's nice to pretend that fictional characters are a part of your life. Got it.

    But funny? Really? Fuck no.

Friends is mediocre and easy to see. I still watch it, when there's nothing on, even though I never laugh at any of the jokes.

While I do understand why people watch it, I would never defend it on the Internet.

Which one, friend zone? Seinfeld invented like fifty great and commonly-used terms. Assman. Man-hands. Double-dip. Yoyoma. Close talker. Shrinkage. Flagging. Jerk store. But wait, you guys were all born after the fact, so I doubt you'd even appreciate Seinfeld's cultural influence.

Agree with the OP. It was a comedy aimed at the lowest common denominator. I saw an episode of the horrid According to Jim a while back, and all of a sudden it dawned on me that you could export the script, word for word, to a Friends episode. People were just hypnotized by how everyone was so pretty and adorable with their $1000 haircuts.
