Leno comes back: Less $$$ to produce, more money from ads. Leno was king of late night. Now that conan is on, lettermans ratings are up. Wat?

If they gave howard stern a late night talk show on the weekend it would get more viewers in one night, then 5 nights of fallon and carson combined for a month.

Sketch comedy, like an other form, is as funny as the people doing it, which for SNL currently means not at all.

Fox tried that years ago, didn't pick up the pilot.
Then there was the horrible CBS show that Stern said would be SNL. Didn't happen, production values were shit.
He had the "Channel 9 show" which did beat SNL, but now he's old and tired and wants to play chess all day.

SNL just had one of its highest rated seasons in ages.
NBC's primetime schedule sucks dicks, its cheaper for them to have Jay Leno at ten than to try and fill the timeslots.
Fallon is still slightly ahead of Craig Ferguson in the ratings.
Conan is behind Letterman.

The problem with NBC is that they have good shows, they just get low ratings because of reality shows.

Carson Daily's show got a lot better. It's not that shitty too fastly paced wanna be late night w/ Conan anymore. I actually enjoy some of the interviews and insight into LA.

Fallon is terrible, we need a 2hr long Conan show.
