I'm also bored with 90% of television programs. I usually watch the Law and Order series and Southland, the rest are just of the shows are just to provide background noise.

I could upgrade to their digital channels package, but it's too expensive and since I live in a college dorm, even though the university is provided with Comcast basic cable, I have no option to upgrade.

Luckily there's torrents, so you don't have to endure this pain.

no, you are not... I barely watch TV and if I do it's usually repeats of shows I've seen 1000 times. There are very few "new" shows that I actually watch; 30 Rock and Dollhouse.

I find myself excruciatingly bored by, and often feel my intelligence is insulted by, most of the shows available to me... and not only epiosodic TV, but the wretched steaming piles if so-call "reality TV".

I can say with all honesty and pride that I have NEVER seen a full episode of American Idol, Rock of Love, etc... that's what the Soup is for!
