    ITT: Awesome theatre moments.

Second time I went to see Dark Knight, some fat fuck from Brooklyn sitting in front of me went "Oh man, the only way that face could look any better is if it were between two buns, hold the relish." After seeing Harvey's burned face. The audience erupted into laughter.

Share me some of your stories, /tv/.

During the previews before the movie 300:
We had all lined up in front of the theater for about 30 minutes, and then they brought us in. I had to stand right beside these two fat, horse-faced lesbians eating each other tongues like they were making a political statement or something. So, like 30 minutes later, we end up shuffling in the theater and these bitches start bitching about having to wait when the movie is about to start and it turns out they were going to see that Jim Carrey movie 23 and they were missing it. So, the ugliest of the two just exclaims like there's nobody there "This is the wrong fucking movie!". I just had to do what I did next. I shouted at the top of my lungs "This is SPARTA" and kicked her in the chest, causing her to fall down about 8 steps to the floor. Most were shocked but about 80% of the theater started to cheer as I was forcibly thrown out by 2 officers. Charges are going to be pressed against me apparently, but it was worth it.

It was my birthday. Before the movie started, there were some commercials. Nothing usual.

We decided that after one particular commercial ended (a really boring ass commercial, nothing funny or anything), we would all start applauding.

We did, and everyone else in the audience tagged along. It was hilarious watching how everyone was confused as fuck when they didn't know what they just applauded to.

Wasn't awesome, but at least three of the five times I saw TDK in theaters some clueless idiot had to exclaim in sudden realization that Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face. Every time I saw it it happened later. First someone exclaimed it when Harvey falls over in his chair and lands on the puddle of oil. Next time someone did it when HArvey's rolling around screaming while his face was on fire. Now, there are plenty of clues in the movie that SCREAM out even to the most ignorant of those to the Batman canon that Dent becomes Two-Face - he has a two-headed coin for fuck's sake. But fine, maybe you were not paying attention during those revelations but managed to piece it together when DENT HAS HIS FACE HORRIBLY BURNED OFF. But no, I shit you not, third time I heard some complete idiot gasp in genuine surprise only after Gordon physically describes him as Harvey Two-Face.

    That was raw ownage.

Honest to god some guy yelled out "FUCK YOU KID!" and then realised how stupid he was instantly.

Transsiberian sneak preview in a german cinema: There was a scene (very far to the end) were the woman (the drug dealing one) is lying on some sort of table all beaten up.
I stood up and shouted "This wouldn't have happened if you'd just made me my sandwich" (in german)
Sneak preview around here has quite a lot "running" gags (more limping nowadays - most are overdone)
Whenever someone crosses a street half the cinema shouts "bus, BUS BUS!" (was pretty epic in Mr.Brooks where the guy almost gets run over..)

Snakes on a Plane Moment #1:
There's a few parts where it shows things from the snakes POV. The first time this happened, everyone burst out laughing and at least half of the people in the theater screamed "SNAKE VISION!!" (This was one of the first showings so they couldn't have planned it)

Snakes on a Plane Moment #2:
When the kid gets shot by Samuel L. Jackson toward the end of the movie, some black dude in the back stood up and yelled "I'M SAMUEL L. JACKSON. I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT!"

My friends dragged me to see the Halloween Rob Zombie remake, and we were the only ones in the theater who laughed at the "I'M JOE GRIZZLY BITCH" part.

Also, there's a point right before that where Tom Sawyer by Rush came on and I instantly exclaimed "Aw hell yeah that's my SHIT", without even trying to cause a ruckus or anything.

Oh and there was also a girl further down the aisles who kept talking/asking dumb questions. When someone finally told her to shut up everyone voiced their agreement.

This was before the internet was big, so no one really knew what to expect. And video game movies were rare and considered pure failure (which hasn't really changed).
