I've had the privilege of chatting with and meeting a lot of great people from 4chan over the past 8.5 years, and lost touch with many.
If we used to chat/hang, drop me a line at moot@4chan.org or on AIM at MOOTCHAT. And if we haven't, feel free to say hi.

Introducing /wsg/ - Worksafe GIF

Update: /rs/ - Rapidshares is fixed—sorry for the downtime there. Also I think we've fixed most issues with boards.4chan.org and sys.4chan.org. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey /tv/

I need some good shows with intelligent antagonists.

Breaking Bad is the shiz
>>23627062
How good is it?
its not going to end up girly is it?

First let me make a list of all shows I've seen that may fit the criteria;

Seen Pretty Little Liars (Fucking god damn June 19th. Why are you so slow?)

Seen Sherlock (The wait for them is even longer, and now that Moriarty is dead, supposedly, I still remain hopeful the writers will forget the books and go off on their own it's kind of pointless for me to continue watching.

The Wire though, I'll look into.
>>
>>23627104
my opinion of the wire was overall great, but slow
>>
Breaking Bad I've seen too, and it hasn't really had any really good antagonists, Gus was O.K. I guess but...

protagonist might be a woman, but that doesn't mean there's any romance garbage
the show pretty much passes the bachdel test
and the antagonists are well dressed

Dat adrenalized state of hyperreality.

There still is though (but I don't mind it since it's well done).
>>
>>23627183
was Gus homosex?
>>
>>23627200

Best response ever.
>>
>>23627216
but they generally don't waste more than 5 minutes on it in an episode, so for me, that's like none
>>
The Wire has a LOT of black characters by the looks of it.

Notsureifwant.
>>
The first season of Heroes had a pretty sweet villain. He crazy, but he still intelligent. Definitely always a step ahead of the protagonists.
>>

Justified
Luther
Sherlock
>>
>>23627219

The actor played him ambiguous on purpose, so I say yes and the writers were just too pussy to state that the antagonist is gay in case people found him less scary or thought they were homophobic or whatever dumb shit.
>>
>>23627270
its pretty cool
>>
Shit. Have I really already seen all the good shows with decent antagonists? What a let down.
>>
Legend of the Seeker?
>>
>>23627390

I'm almost positive you're just grasping now.
>>
Deadwood
>>
>watching shows that have "antagonists"

>That feel when you keep trying to make PLL threads on /tv/ but it feels like you're the only person on here who watches it since the best case scenario is that you get discussion about Ashley Benson's tits.

Where are you guys when I need you ;_;
>>
>>23627620

Sorry, I'm often busy running about in black hoodies manipulating my school mates and tormenting them with anonymous texts.

Luther
The Shadow Line
>>
>>23627704
Sounds cool. Bury any lesbians alive lately?

Next Tuesday can't come soon enough
>>
>>23627761

"The Shadow Line"...

Title caught my eye, Googled and plot wasn't interesting until this; "...to the brilliantly lethal puppet-master who gradually emerges from the shadows to bring the story to its shocking climax..."

Added to list. Thank you sir.

Agreed. A was buying knives in the last few seconds. Interest piqued.
