because he's not the guy who died. It's a guy who looks like he did in
the 60's, but it's not the same guy. The guy who died was a singer in a
fake 60's tv band, The Monkees, but the picture is of Walter Koenig, the
actor who played Chekov in Star Trek OST and Bester in Babylon 5. It's
funny because that's not the person who died, but it looks like him and
he was cast because of the resemblance he had to the 60's tv singer, who
is actually the person who really died. That's the joke, see. That's
why it's funny. It's funny because you think it's someone who died, but
really it's not; it's a different person who died who looks like him,
but OP cleverly made it seem as if the person who looks like the person
who died actually died but in reality the person who died is the other
person. That's the joke.
