>see them being overly aggressive on drunk 14 year old girls - really now? Big butch police lady is proper pinning one down in the street
>some police officers humiliate weak-looking drunk guy in street and tell him to back off - they forcefully push him in front of public; this knocks him over each time
>in one episode the police officer is annoyed with someone and arrests him for no reason just to inconvenience his night - he even says something along the lines of "You may not get charged but at least you're going to be in a cell overnight. I've ruined your party now."
>a female teenager with drugs in her hand is forcefully pinned to the ground by a MALE and female officer - he handles her so roughly - she isn't even fighting back
>continuous unprofessionalism throughout the episodes - farting, swearing at people, not treating everyone equally, always complaining about cutbacks and how the law is on the criminal's side etc.

...and you wonder why people don't respect the police in the first place? This show continually favours the side of the police and doesn't once critisise them. Is it any better in the US?

i think it's important that people know that police are people too.

and that means they're dangerous and can't be trusted and you better not get their attention for fucking anything. I actually consider them in the same category as criminals, stay the fuck away from them.

20 years ago cops here in canada used to bust up teens drinking by rounding them up, putting phone books over their backs and chest and beat them with clubs so it wouldnt leave marks

kids these days complain if their weed gets taken away or the cop folds an arm behind their back
