'belief of atheism'

I'm an atheist because I believe there's no way to prove there is a god and thus I don't believe in one. Can't prove a negative, so I'm not an antitheist, but you sure as hell can't prove that there is a god, either.

I became an athiest at age 5 with a couple of simple conclusions.

1. I learned that there were other religions other than the one my parents taught me. IF this is true there has to be at least some wrong. If thats the case then what does that mean if I can't accept that christianity maybe the wrong one.

2. If god wanted everyone to believe in christianity why wouldn't he offer a better way than passing down by word of mouth? And what happens to those isolated enough to never experience christianity.

3. Christianity was not the first religion nor is it the most recent. How can It be any more valid because a religious text. Which many religions have...

God probably doesn't exist. If he did, one could fairly assume there would be some actual evidence, yet everything we've discovered only serves to suggest that he is no more real than satyrs and fairies.

correction as i see it theism is a belief in god, atheism is a belief in no god. (by definition one is the opposite of the other) agnostic is a belief in the possibility of there being a higher power, yet admitting to not be able to know the nature of the diety.
