Shirley makes me wonder if Catholics (I think she's Catholic?) are actually like that in America. Here they just mind their own business and mostly talk about religion during religious events except for a handful of nutjobs.

Shirley is more interesting when she is ghetto or the Stepford wife. I find some of her lines hilarious when she delivers them in a specific way.

For example, when she asked Abed if he was being meta, she pronounced meta as "Meh-Ta".

Also, in the zombie episode, when she was in the bathroom with Chang and said "Oh so this how I will die, as Miss Piggy!" she said Piggy as Pi-GEEE
