Personally, I really liked Clerks, Mallrats and Clerks 2. I even found Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back alright. There's some special feel in Kevin Smith films that I love.. it culminates in the Clerks film. I really like his View Askewniverse thing, very positive thing. I don't follow podcasts and other shit so I don't know what he says in the media though..

Also I'm Finnish, not American, so that may be why the Clerks American realism thing hits me so hard
