Then there is those people who worship certain celebs and participate in useless image dumps of them.

I think the problem is is that /tv/ is at it's core a secondary board. Everyone has their main hobby like anime or video games and mainly sticks to those boards. Sometimes they come on /tv/ for a suggestion and fuck off leaving the content of the board up to a bunch of pedophiles.

I watch a film everyday. Most of the time it is one I haven't seen. A little while after I start a thread about it. I try to find an interesting point to discuss and sometimes the thread gets no replies and when it does it never really reaches 100. The last thread I made was a battle royale thread which went pretty well.

I've considered tripping up (we could all use another useless tripfag couldn't we?) just to make a daily thread which would consist of

I thought ____ was interesting
I especially liked _____
What do you think?
Also what did you watch today or are planning to?

I feel like something like this would encourage some good on topic discussion. Even if the format is a bit formal.
