I can relate so much. Everyone standing in a group while waiting for
class and me and someone else would usually just wait at the door. On
one side, it's incredibly awkward to just stand there alone, on the
other side, joining the group would feel even more awkward I did join
them once, but I just felt out of place, not to mention that they had
nothing even remotely interesting to discuss, except complete shitty
anime. Since it was a japanese History class I'd try to start a
conversation asking what they thought of Kurosawa movies, or myazaki
animations. All I got was blank stares , with only one person having
previously heard of myazaki and no one of kurosawa .From then on no one
would even so much as talk to me . They must have thought I snubbed them
or something. I'd usually read a book, or time the moment when the class was about to start and join about 2 minutes late |
