I'm with you on everything except meta threads. We can't always discuss TV or movies, at a certain point a few of us have said everything that needs to be said about the series and films that regularly get discussed here, so meta threads are sometimes necessary to keep the board fresh, plus sometimes they are some of the best content we as a board generate. Think back to the Little White Boy thread, or the Wikipedia Sexual Acts Drawings thread. I'm not saying allow ALL meta threads, but if you're sufficiently lenient about them we all can have a good time like we did back in 2009, which in my opinion is as good as we can possibly get due to the fact that this has for all intents and purposes become a high traffic board.

One more thing, how much time will you spend in front of your computer? It would be useless having you become a mod if you're just going to have 4 hours a day to actually do your shit. At any rate, I welcome your initiative and wish you the best of luck.

OP, regarding the avaspam or any other kind of spam attack: Don't just delete their threads, if you have mod powers you might as well use them to their full extent and permaban all their fucking proxies. If you keep doing this they'll eventually run out. And then we will be the winners.
