It's great if you have money to spend. The Burj was actually the coolest fuckin thing, if you stay there goto the underwater restaurant, it blew my balls.

But back on point, i feel Dubai is pretty sterile cause they've literally just stacked up the place on sand.

If you're travelling with females (wives daughters) just make sure they're with you at all times, it's not as bad as say Syria where the fuckin religious police will hound your loveds ones (cause straying 10 metres away from your male family means you're a whore right?)

There's plenty of amusement, the nightlife is fuckin ace and if you go at the right time, all the Emirates Air Hostesses are ready and banging.

Dubai has an indoor Ski Hill.

It is awesome

It's rich people Disneyland. They're even building an outdoor refrigerated beach. It's absolutely terrible for the environment though.

Dubai is an artificial city and a failed attempt at being an international centre like Hong Kong or Singapore. Also, unlike Hong Kong which has culture, pedigree, soul and beauty - Dubai is just a sterile shithole full of temporary foreign expats and locals who hold themselves with a completely unwarranted sense of superiority (and who seem to forget they are just one generation out of being a bunch of goat herders). The driving is shit, there is no cultural value there, prostitution, primitive laws and discrepancies in wealth abound.
