    >Blood Ravens
Well, obviously some sort of Raven Guard or Blood Angel successor. If Blood Angels, then the raven probably would refer to ravens as an omen bird. If Raven Guard, then maybe they have some really grotesque chapter rituals? Until that's decided, should we just assume they specialize in lightning assault?
I'd go with a black color scheme with red around the boots and hands.

    >Imperial Eagles

This chapter has dedicated itself to the Codex Astartes with every fiber of its being. Like the shinning Aquila that serves as their chapter symbol, the marines of the Imperial Eagles chapter march to war in cleaming power armour of gold.
Their goal, utter dedication to the Emperor, is as pure as the means they use to achieve it.

    >Star Hippos

A distant descendant of the White Scars based on a primitive world called Rhodetenland. Rhodetenland was colonised by the Imperium some time ago, but fell into anarchy when its rulers were forced to leave as a result of war elsewhere. The Star Hippos took it upon themselves to return law and order to the sector, and chose this planet as their home base for its tough, swift warriors.

The Star Hippos follow a doctrine referred to by the Codex Astartes as "Fulmen Bellum", which consists of striking the enemy as quickly as possible with as much heavy gear as possible. They specialise in tank charges supported by the Imperial Guard Air Corps. Their relationship with the Navy is troubled at best.

There they still serve, ever watchful for the return of the dark knights and their reign of terror.

    >Shrieking Lamenters

Created some two thousand years ago, and given a home planet at the eastern edge of the Astronomican's light, the intended purpose of the Shrieking Lamenters was originally to expand the territory of the Imperium eastwards, and deal with any potential threats while doing so.
However, barely a hundred years after their creation, and Ork Waaaagh struck their homeworld, which was left undefended save for their 7th company.
Putting up a heroic, but futile, defense, the 7th company held off the Waaagh long enough for most of the civilians to be evacuated, at the cost of every marine in the chapter.
When the rest of the chapter returned from beyond the Emperor's light some seventy years later, their homeworld was a smoldering ruin, little left but squabbling feral orks and burned cities.

Furious at the destruction of their homeworld, the rest of the Shrieking Lamenters set out to end this threat to the Imperium, and exact their revenge in the process.
Finding the Orks engaged on a nearby hive world, the chapter responded in force, descending into the ork-infested hives by drop-pod, and purging all but a handful of the orks.
However, despite the countless dead orks they left behind them in the hives, no warboss was found.
This has led the Shrieking Lamenters to crusade across the Empires eastern border, searching for the warboss responsible, and lamenting the death of their homeworld.
They have since then kept and improved their affinity for quick, ferocious assaults on urban areas, and have gained a name as impressive urban fighters, even by Astartes standards.

Believed by many to be a splinter fraction of the Alpha Legion, they are, in fact, a successor chapter of the Salamanders.
The chapter specializes in covert operations, with squads of marines often being assigned to Imperial Guard regiments in order to deal with any task for which special forces of their nature would be required.
However, because of the confusion regarding their name, commanders are reluctant to put the marines to use, which results in most of the chapter either sitting around doing nothing, or acting as a purely-defensive force.
This has given them the nickname "Lazy marines" amongst certain, borderline-heretical sections of the Imperial populace.

After a heroic defense against Tau forces, it turned out that the greatest casualty of the battle had been the sanity of the Fire Warriors chapter.
Every marine, from the chapter master to the lowest initiate, believed in full that they were Tau Fire Warriors, and, as such, reported to the nearest Tau planet, eager to serve The Greater Good.
Having by now participated in many battles against the enemies of the Tau, they have gained a name for themselves amongst the fire caste, having long since become honorary members.
However, Fire Warriors of Nebula IV are slowly regaining their memories, thanks in particular to encounters with loyalist marines, who quite naturally have assumed they were traitors to the Imperium, and called them out on it.
Will civil war break out amongst the Tau when the Fire Warriors of Nebula IV turn against them, or will they have seen the glory of the greater good?

Employing a company of Sanctified Noise Marines, the Wicked Company of Mayhem are distinguished by their entirely bike-only assault tactics and the distinctive riding style of always standing upright in the saddle. None of it's sergeants wear helmets as rank is displayed by the altitude achieved by a given warrior's elaborate hair style.
The Chapter icon is a combat knife position cruciform to a pair of darkened light-reflective goggles atop the background of a approaching red performance lorry. Typical iconography used includes chains, metallic clubs, short single-edge fighting blades, draconic figures and among the ranking champions a hank of brightly colored cloth worn tightly about the forehead.
The current chapter master is William Lee, seconded by his twin brother James Lee.

Their chapter colours are Ice Blue, but with Shadow Gray greaves, lines of the pauldrons and a Shadow Gray stripe on their face.

The Chapter has proven many times their excellency in fighting in cold environment and in siege operations, famously bringing down the massive fortress of the Iron Warriors of Kahl.

    > Vigilant Phantoms

According to reports and tales from various members of the Inquisition and citizenry of the Imperium, there was once a chapter known as the Vigilant Phantoms. Outfitted by the Inquisition with superior stealth and cloaking technology they were assigned to be secret enforcers placed in locations heretics were likely to gather and be drawn too. Fiercely loyal to their duties and the Emperor they stood guard at each of their posts cloaked, however when they tried to uncloak the devices broke and permanently concealed them.

Doomed to remain invisible for the rest of their lives, they dropped off the radar. Unable to fix it, unable to operate the technology to fix it, they were forced to watch the Imperium change over the years. To this day, it is rumored they sit in their spots and and vigilantly watch those perform their daily routines.

    >Wizards Repentant
The chapter's recruiting world is one of the most mutant-hating in the Imperium, with mutants of any form, including psykers, being regarded as, almost, worse than heretics, an attitude the chapter shares.
However, the chapter is also almost-entirely made up of psykers, with the sole exception being the chapter's Chaplains, whose task it is to keep the psykers in check.
The large amount of psyker "mutants" in the chapter's ranks is something they constantly strive to atone for, only consciously tapping their potential in the most dire situations, and always striving to be the first to fight any psyker enemies they can.

Although sired from Roboute Guilliman's gene legacy the Alpha Dogs are atypical of their Primarch's progeny in their loose adherence to the Codex Astartes.

The Chapter is ruthless and efficient, placing the completion of objectives ahead of lesser considerations such as pride and honor. The Alpha Dogs are equally likely to saturate a battlefield with atomics as they are to take the field.
