Most will say I could have rolled better. I will say I could have rolled much worse.

Minnesotan teams have fantastic fanbases so gamethreads are always entertaining. The state itself seems really nice and I would like to visit one day.

The teams right now all have some amount of promise. Vikings are on the rise. Timberwolves would be a comfortable playoff team without if not for the fucking crazy amount of injuries. Wild look to be relevant again and I really like that Granlund kid. Twins are moving in the right direction albiet at baseball speed.

I grew up in Manchester so support Man City. Have done since I was born in 1983.

They will always be my club but now they've become a giant billboard for Abu Dhabi, I just don't have such strong feelings for them any more.

Incidentally, I am now engaged to a Bosnian girl and as I go to Sarajevo on a fairly regular basis, I began attending FK Sarajevo matches. The Horde Zla are much more passionate than City fans have been for the past ten years, the ticket prices are far from extortionate and the players have much more of an affinity with the club beyond "mercenary".

So long story short. Man City are my wife and FK Sarajevo are my mistress.

Some of my teams look pretty bandwagony, and my NCAA teams were probably picked at the time because of their success(but I would now support them through good times or bad). My friend's favorite teams:

Basketball: Lakers, Thunder
Football: Cowboys

His reasoning is that he was born in OKC, didn't care about the NBA until he was in prison and his buttbuddy got him into the NBA and he lived in Albequerqe so the Cowboys were his de facto team.

My main reason for liking Minnesota was I watched the movie Fargo and thought the accent was cute and adorable. Also I used to play as them on NBA Live 2003. I don't know what his point is. Started noticing when the Patriots beat the Rams, he wore a Pats cap and started saying "Patriots, baby, Patriots". We thought, alright, whatever. But then it just went on. Red Sox win the WS? "Red Sox, baby, Red Sox." Tar Heels win the tournament? "Tar Heels baby, Tar Heels".
