That is
just.... Are you serious, man? Try to be reasonable, bear with me.
Hitler was Time Man of The Year, at one point. He was a celebrated World
Leader. Promising (and coming through with) major economical progress
in Germany, he entrenched himself into the German infrastructure until
he had total control. Enter the Gestapo, enter a total lack of options
for German citizens.
YES, they sold out the Jews, but it was out
of FEAR and an indoctrinated hatred. It wasn't like things are today.
There was no internet. There was no liberal media. People go their
information from where Hitler's fairly intelligent propaganda ministers
wanted them to get it.
Nazi Germany is a fascinating portion of
History, rife with deep psychological implications, new forms of
psychological terrorism, philosophical revelations, etc. You can't just
say, "Man, Germans were totally down with it." as though it's an
attribute to German blood.
What about the British blood that
prompted American colonists to merciless slaughter the Native Americans,
or the apartheid in African colonies, or the mistreatment of Indians?
The Spanish Inquisition, which wasn't limited to Spain, the crusades,
Egyptian racism. Even the Aztecs, where do you think Cortez found
support? From other tribes who were tired of being raped and kidnapped
for sacrifices to the Gods.
I mean, this is just humanity. |
