I've decided I'm going to learn to figure skate, there is an ice rink within walking distance from me, I think I'm way too old to ever make it far enough to go to the Olympics (assuming I could even compete at all), but I think if I worked at it for a few years I could probably learn some jumps and maybe go to some regional things and take some tests. I wanted to skate when I was a little girl but there was no ice rinks nearby and my family was very poor when I was little so I gave up on the idea and got into stupid video games. I remember wanting to be just like Oksana Baiul and Tata Lipinski. Dumb games, What a waste of my life. I will skate and do something worthwhile with my life! Maybe I could go to Sochi just to watch :)

I sad. I've lived in Vancouver my whole life(25 yrs) and this has been the most fun I've ever had in the city. Ive never seen this many smiling happy people over the past couple weeks.

My hands are sore from high-fiving strangers in the crowd of over 100,000 people downtown. The celebration in Vancouver put the celebration in New Orleans(after winning the Superbowl) to shame.
