Attention 4chan extension/user script/archive developers: Some time in the next few days, we'll be rolling out a complete HTML rewrite of the imageboards.
The design will remain the same, but the underlying HTML/CSS is completely new, and validates HTML5/CSS3 (with some tweaks to account for cross-browser compatibility).

As a regular user, these changes should not affect you. You will need to update your 4chan browser extensions/user scripts when their maintainer updates them to be compatible with the changes.

NFL because there's a position for just about everybody as opposed to everybody being fast and good with their feet.
UFC because it incorporates boxing along with wrestling and submission fighting. While boxing may be more pure, it's also less diverse (entertaining).

I think we can all agree that baseball is a stupid fucking sport.

I mean the fucking STADIUM itself has a chance to make or break you depending on whether your stadium happens to be an indoor our outdoor stadium. Sun in your face??? TOO FUCKING BAD.

Some stadiums face right at the sun and some away from the sun. So that same team you lost to (because the sun got in your face from hitting the winning home run) you could have won at another stadium.

It's so fucking stupid that the weather or time of the game can make or break you.

Some games are played at night (no sun blockage) whereas some games are played in the day (sun blockage) it's not balanced at all.

Then I recently found out the home run barrier can be smaller or bigger depending on the stadium. For instance a home run at Dodger's stadium would have probably only been a double at Yankees stadium.

Stupid fucking unbalanced sport.

NHL - my local NBA team has sucked for 30 years and will continue to suck for the next 30. I'm sure if I lived in a big tv market I'd probably think the NBA was awesome, because my team would be eternal contenders and the entire sport would be just watching my team win 75% of the time.

NFL - self explanatory

UFC - boxing is fucked up now, because I have no idea who the actual champion is anymore. There's like 50 different belts, so all the 'championship' fights seem kind of meaningless. UFC is pretty shitty too I guess, but at least I have some idea who the best of the best is.

UFC fans are antisocial white teens who have no friends or money so they sit in front of their computer and stream the fights (not even supporting their own sport) where as boxing fans gather up tons of friends, and order the fight on PPV (away from the computer).

NFL > any domestic association football club comp but I'm more interested in the FIFA WC and even the CL than the NFL, EPL, La Liga etc. simply because they are international competitions.

Boxing over UFC because high level boxing is usually entertaining whereas plenty of UFC is boring as fuck. In theory UFC is better though.

NHL sells more tickets than the NBA. NBA this regular season sold 17 million, and if it were a full season it would have only been 21 million. The NHL sold 27 million. Constantly NBA fans and trolls on /sp/ bring up TV ratings, and they never have a logical reason to hate the NHL besides the fact that they don't know much about it. This is always evident when they attempt to discredit hockey. The NBA has little integrity, is full of flopping, the star players aren't very respectable when most of them act like babies not getting their way. Parity is way better in the NHL, it's not full of casual fans that just jump on the bandwagon of whatever team is full of star players, the championship trophy is the greatest in all sports and it's engraved with all of its winner's names. The first round of the NHL playoffs this year alone has had some of the most exciting series in history, with the most overtimes, and the most goals scored by a team franchise record beaten.

The Bobcats set an NBA record for most losses. Hockey is more exciting and scoring requires more skill because there is a goalie who is allowed to tend the goal without incurring a foul. NBA basketball is just like an all-star exhibition of who can run and dunk fastest, or exhibit the greatest acting skill and get the most fouls called.
