It's like being in a group of people having a conversation about something you don't know a lot about. In situations like that I just sit back and enjoy the conversation without trying to be a part of it since I know nothing I say will be particularly insightful or relevant.

For a long time I just came to 4chan to read greentext stories. I never really felt the need to post anything myself, I just enjoyed reading things when I was bored
