    >Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has launched a blistering attack on the "disgraceful" fixture scheduling which will see his side play Manchester City and then a Carling Cup tie with Chelsea within 48 hours of each other. He has warned fans they should consider whether or not to buy tickets for the cup tie as he may field a youth team at Stamford Bridge. "The one thing I will say to our fans is to think carefully before buying tickets for the League Cup game. We do not want them spending their money and then we decide there is no other option but to use only young players in the tie," he said.

    Meanwhile in Spain...

    >The one thing that might anger Ferguson more than being told he has made a mistake is the thought of Liverpool winning titles again, which is why he might also want to keep his eye on news that Kenny Dalglish's side have been linked with a move for David Villa. Reports in Spain have reportedly reported that the striker is unhappy at Barcelona and has fallen out with Lionel Messi. He won't come cheap, though, so it's a good thing Liverpool still have that £50m burning a hole in their pockets after the sale of Fernando Torres, eh? Oh.

Why is this a big deal?

The scheduling is shit and fair play to Kenny for letting the fans know he'll be putting out a weakened side.

ITS A FACKIN DISGRACE WE GOTTA PLAY TWO GAMES IN 3 DAYS RAR ARARRRRRRARRRRRR BAWBAG FACKIN WEE FA LIVERPOOL HATERS AAAAAARRRRRGHHHHH

    Grow up, Kenny, you cunt.

He was fine when he first took the job, his post-match interviews were entertaining, but now he's turned into a huge moaning wanker every time he's interviewed. Like he takes offence at someone pointing out Liverpool weren't very good when anyone with a brain knows they weren't.

Chelsea are going to play their youth team anyway.

    Why is Kenny so gay

that's the problem, his wages will be exorbitant. What's he on, something like £200k a week? Think RVP's the highest paid at Arsenal and he's on £100k

And City aren't going to sell him cut price, why would they? They can afford to keep him in the reserves for the entirety of his contract if they want

LOL, Ken knows what he is doing. We will PICK CITY APART, just like last year. Kompanys biggest vice in the whole league is the Andy and Suarez partnership. Citys defence other than him is shit. Wouldn't be shocked with a 3 or 4-1 win.

Chelsea are shit. Worst Chelsea team since 1996. We are their biggest bogey team. Our youth will wreck them. Kenny has their number tactically. He proved it last season

    From the official website:
    >"It is disgraceful in this day and age that players are being asked to play a key Premier League game and then a League Cup Quarter-final in London just 48 hours later. It's understandable with the Spurs v PAOK Salonika match and the TUC rally that the Met Police have said that our game cannot be played on the Wednesday. But it's surely the duty of the football authorities to think of other solutions which consider the welfare of the players and this clearly hasn't happened.

    >"Manchester City are in a similar position to us with their game at Arsenal and it's for them to argue their case, but it is my job to stand up for the interests of Liverpool Football Club. Here you have two clubs who have treated this competition with utmost respect over the years and they are being treated like this. I'd be interested to know what the sponsors think of the situation and what it does for the reputation of the competition.

    >Liverpool and Manchester City are United's biggest rivals.
    >They are playing Chelsea and Arsenal in their cup games.
    >They have 48 hours time to prepare for their fixtures, because they're playing each other two days before in the EPL.
    >United play Crystal Palace and have enough time to prepare for their fixture.

I doubt Mancini is going to be worried about playing 2 fixtures so close together. Kenny is and that's the difference. Kenny knows he has very little depth. City's 2nd team is capable of a mid table premier league finish.

Liverpool need to get of there high horses saying Man City is a big game then drawing vs Norwich and Swansea.

Liverpool should play there youngsters vs City if anything

Its like Holloway being furious he has to play a massive 9 pointer vs United at OTon the Sunday then play at home vs Birmingham on Tuesday.
