Front page wouldn't move for hours at all, but it seemed like posts were, more creative, or something. /sp/ had a certain wit to it that wasn't matched on the vast majority of other boards. Now it's a lot like /v/. Yeah there are some good threads, yeah I guess for the most part shit is on-topic, but I dunno it's just a lot different. Maybe because way back when at any given time there were maybe 10 people posting at a time and even if you were all anon, that small amount of traffic sort of made you hold more accountability and you didn't feel like spouting hurr durr shit randomly.
