was two years ago. Halo 3 MLG pro circuit. Columbus. I drove 13 hours
to see the dreamteam of lunchbox, ogre 1, ogre2 and finally the GOAT:
Walshy. I had all my final boss gear on. Game 1, capture the flag on
Narrows. Walshy handed it to STR8 rippin, they won the game in a long
defensive bout 1-0. Game 2, MLG team slayer on MLG pit. Ogre2 put up 18,
and Walshy got 14 kills and 9 assists. They handed it to them at 50-34.
I figured there was no way. Game 3 was team oddball on MLG Gaurdian.
After a full length 20 minute match, Rippin came out of top 212-201.
Game 4 was KOTH on MLG construct. lunchbox grabbed a sniper and won the
game for FB 200-112. 3-1 in a 7 game series. After a horse shit finish
in CTF on Foundry, it was 3-2. I was still pumped, not nervous. Then on
game 6, slayer on gaurdian, it was 48-45 FB, and then t^2, the best
Rippin, dropped a triple kill to a double kill to win 50-45. Game 7.
Oddball, Blackout. 30 seconds left, FB up 212-200. Huge fight, ogre2
jumps off map with ball, too bad t^2 was standing on the ball spawn
luckily. He picked up the ball, and the crowd errupted. I was screaming
HE HAS IT YOU NEED TO KILL HIM!!!! they took the lead at 216-212 and
jumped off the map with the ball. It didn't spawn until 6 seconds left,
Walshy picked it up and I screamed so loud, and then all of the sudden
he got sniped in the head. I looked at the score, 216-214. We lost. I
ripped off all my FB gear and bought some STR8 gear. No chance at losing
in 2011, best team ever |
