01/22/11(Sat)14:14 No.622479The
information that you attempt to memorize just before you sleep gets
written very deeply in your brain. Just a little neuroscience fact.
Also,
omega-3 fatty acid from fish oil (can be bought in bottle form) coats
the synapses/axioms of your brain with myelin which improves signal
transfer, making you better able to remember things/faster at
remembering them. Not by a ton or anything but it can help. Also good
for your heart, cholesterol, other shit.
Basically two things determine the strength of your memories:
1.) Repetition: the well-beaten path is clear, it's as simple as that
2.)
Interconnectedness: The more your knowledge relates to other knowledge,
the more you remember it. Knowing that, CREATE connections, MAKE UP
connections. If something seems to have no relation to anything you
know, just keep saying that thing and another word over and over...
create an association that you can't forget.
