01/10/11(Mon)06:37 No.41829Hey people, I made a racist joke or two in this thread but serious question now, for the black guys anyway. I
know two songs about a clash of loyalties or something, one written by a
black guy and one by a chinese guy. I can't say I relate, being a
cracker, but it sounds like an inner turmoil where they don't know
whether to identify with the country they were born in or the country
their parents emigrated from. Do you feel anything like this?
"Second
generation blues, our point of view not listened to, different worlds
and different rules, a question of allegiance." - Kele Okereke, Where Is
Home "I had a date with assimilation but I stood her ass up and made
love to the multicoloured futures brimming in my cup." - some guy I
don't care about enough to know the name of, What You Thought Hops |
