    D of course.

    CORRECT
    now work out the values!
    >> Anonymous 01/28/10(Thu)23:54 No.87676
    no one?
    alright
    strawberry = 1
    apple = 2
    banana = 3
    orange = 4
    >> Anonymous 01/28/10(Thu)23:54 No.87688
    So A Banana and an Apple is an Orange and a strawberry, And an apple is half of a banana and half of a strawberry.
    So a banana and a half is equal to an orange and half a strawberry.

    So an orange is equal to a banana and a a half and half a negative strawberry

    So an orange and an apple would be the same as a banana and a half and half a negative strawberry being added to half a banana and half a strawberry.

    So the answer is D, two bananas.

    In other news, Negative strawberries taste terrible.

    lies
    apple =1
    banana =1
    strawberry =1
    orange = 1
    you got 2(1)=1+1
    1+2(1)=1+1+1
    1+1=??
    A 1+1
    B 1+1
    C2(1)+1
    D2(1)
    >> Anonymous 01/28/10(Thu)23:57 No.87731
    not to beat a dead horse but I arrived at the correct conclusion, D. That was a nice little math puzzle there

    You can't say math is wrong. And there is nothing wrong with my math.
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:01 No.87822
    this is bullshit. everyone knows you can't divide by banana.
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:03 No.87859
    this is stupidly easy
    a pair of bananas and a pair of strawberrys
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:05 No.87905
    >>87630

    Well if apples = a, Bananas = b, Strawberries = S, Oranges = O. Then it's simple algebra. The laws given state:

    2a = b + s
    b + 2a = o + a + s
    o + a = ??

    If 2a = b + s, then b + b + s = o + a + s. It's evident that s is equivalent to itself, then o + a = 2b.
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:06 No.87941
    >>87859
    here
    didn't see the options, D also works.
    Two bannanas equals an apple and an orange and also equals two banannas and two oranges, so couldn't we say that oranges are worthless?

    nice, but what i meant was find out what each fruits value is by itself.

    1 all fruit value is 1
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:10 No.88018
    >>87941
    shoot sorry, screwed up on some algebra for my first answer
    2a=b+s -s=b-2a
    b+2a=o+a+s
    o+a=b+2a-s
    substitute -s
    o+a=2b

    i am OP and the vlaues i used were...
    strawberry = 1
    apple = 2
    banana = 3
    orange = 4

    its still pretty funny that everyone is using these over elaborate formulae to solve this :D
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:14 No.88094
    >>88024
    those work too, but are silly values. Why is some fruit better than other for you? size? price? taste?

    I think going with all ones is a lot easier.
    >> kojak 01/29/10(Fri)00:18 No.88189

    thants cool, just doesnt make as much sense to me probably because i dont know how you got all fruit = 1

    also it'd be in the sense of price

    oops my bad i marked down the equations in your op wrongly

    I looked at problem, and said everything adds up well if all = 1

    breaking the 3 examples down into simplest form works out to 2=2 3=3 2=?
    >> Anonymous 01/29/10(Fri)00:33 No.88499
    D

    did it in my head with math
