>finished exam in 30 minutes out of the allotted 90 minutes
>that feeling when you don't know what to feel
>>
>>5260309 (OP)
I do this, then putter around re-checking my math for 30 more minutes and then stare at one of the hotter TA's for another 20 then twiddle my thumbs for the final ten. All in all, it's pretty fun.
>>
>>5260332
You know, there's nothing preventing you from handing it in early.

But I guess for the avg person on 4chan, "staring at one of the hotter TA's for 20 minutes" is considered a big night out on the town
>>
>>5260348
Normally when I'm finished completing the exam, I tell myself I'll go over my answers.

And then I spend about 20 or so minutes going over answers.

And I don't think in 6 terms of college - that's over 2 dozen midterms and a dozen finals - that i've ever once changed any answer I originally had during those 20-25 minutes of going back through my work.

This year, I've decided to just turn it in when I finish. I also heard from somewhere that the answer you got the first time is probably right compared to the one you get the second time if you change it

At my university we aren't allowed to leave the exam room for the first 90 minutes. It's really quite silly.
>>
>>5260451
what's their justification for that? seems stupid as hell.
>>
>>5260464
Mine also has restrictions like that, usually can't leave first or last 30 minutes of an exam, never actually asked why.
>>
>>5260467
>>5260464

It's so can come in late without anyone leaking what was on the exam.

Yeah, that's an example of over-paranoia.

Any student willing to do that level of ninjitsu will just hire someone to sit the class for them (happens routinely and virtually impossible to stop)

>Halfway through exam

>Purposefully too-long exam

Damn those professors. The ones with the 30% class average, etc. Which doesn't matter because either the scale is stupid or a curve is applied.

Give up on the power trip and grade normally, fuckface.
>>
>>5260506
You think you have it bad? The TAs actually have to GRADE those.

Do you have any idea how soul-disintegrating it is to grade those 30%-averagers? I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy
>>
Finished 3 hour comp sci midterm in 40 minutes. Where is my medal?
>>
>>5260513
What class?
>>
>>5260514
Intro to Programming. The class is a fucking joke and most people are fucking retarded in it.
And this school is supposed to be smart....
>>
>>5260517
>Intro to Programming
Yeah, that shit is before the retards get filtered out. Lots of people think they are computer whizzes and take the first few CS classes. Then they fail Calculus or Physics and change majors.
>>
>>5260524
I'm sure the same thing probably happens in other STEM majors where there is a certain mass culling point group of classes.
>>
>>5260442
I just experienced that feel today on my math test.

OH YEAH!

I usually finish fuck early too. I flip through my test a bit to make it look like I'm checking, and when I get tired of faking it I get up and hand it in.
>>
Take exam without studying, sleep late, get up and study for a hour or 2 before class
>77%

Try to study hard and be ready next time
>68%

Study ass off days in advance, sleep properly, eat properly in the morning, review before class, finish all questions
>59%

Took FE test
Fell asleep during it
Still perfect score

Suck it retards
>>
Man I'm always there till time is up. THAT'S JUST THE WAY I AM.

Usually get good scores.

>tfw no longer in community college and easily break records

>next class, tests have been graded, everyone's dreading getting theirs back because they thought it was grueling and horrible
>guy sitting next to me thought I turned it in early because I gave up in frustration

Bleh finish 2 and a half hour exam in 30 minutes.

I get a weird look from the instructor (small class; N&S) when I hand in the test.

>oh fuck oh fuck i did something wrong

>93%
>max score
>WTF YOU DOING TO ME?
