Basically took a bunch of AP classes (Euro history, Gov, Stats, Chem, English Lit, English Lan, U.S history) got A's or B's in them, played some sports, and then helped my community out through clubs at my high school. Make your essay sound amazing. Don't sound like you're tying to get into Harvard just for the prestige. Make it stand out from other essays. Check the internet for help on your essay. Not that anon, but that's not true. It is a great school. Not nearly as great as Harvardfags think it is, and it is full of douchebags, but still, it's a great school. It's got more than its share of smart people, a lot of great professors, and obscene amounts of money. Plus name recognition is actually quite valuable in itself.
