How much was your tuition for the spring semester, /sci/?

Mine came out to $1,570 before books. I'm taking five classes with a total of fourteen credit hours.

My net profit was $294 000 after paying my tuition. You guessed it, I'm a math major.
    >> Anonymous 01/02/12(Mon)10:50 No.4208748
around $300 because I have 2 sisters and the study material is normally written by professors so you only have to pay for the printing of it. If I need a textbook I buy it from older students for lower price or just ask to have them lent for some time. Also library.

    Tuition?

Silly americans having to pay tuition to learn... Glorious Europe is past restricting knowledge to the already wealthy.

Tuition for the year was 11,700 CAD.
    Engineering tuition is expensive...

Tuition is this cheap? Here in Canada, universities have approximately $18 000 tuitions before student loans and grants.

Where the fuck are YOU going to? I pay around $2600 per semester (Before books), and i'm at a a very high end university for what I'm studying.

    International student?

A citizen/permanent resident pays around $6K depending on their program, and closer to $10K if it's engineering.

Medical school would be around $20K.

p.s. if you happen to be in Ontario, you get a rebate this year, which you have to apply to manually if you aren't already under OSAP,

To all the people giving numbers in the 10k+ area...

    1) were talking about per semester costs, not per year
    2) if you're going to a super-high end internationally recognized and highly respected post-secondary education center, like for example Sarah Lawrence College, please include that in your details.
    >> Anonymous 01/02/12(Mon)12:19 No.4208929
Something around 90€ for the whole academic year. Includes the student union and health care fees, doesn't include books and other that kind of important stuff. Rent is ~190€ including water, electricity and 10/10 broadband.

    So eeeeasyyyyy...

    >>4208914

Lol no. As the example given by >>4208921 tuition can break 50k per semester. Universities are privitized and can charge whatever they want; community colleges are typically government run and are standardized in price across a province/state.
    >> Anonymous 01/02/12(Mon)12:21 No.4208934

I technically get paid to go to school. I make over 20k profit per year from the absurd ammount of scholarships I've gotten.

Scholarships. Mmm. Hard work in highschool definitely paid off. Literally.

As for what I pay per semester, it's about $7200, engineering.
