Why is community college so easy? I've been bored out of my mind due to it for the past year already. I had my first class of the new semester today and it was just sad

For in-class quizzes we can use our notes/textbooks as well as ask other people the answers. Tests we take online at home, so we can use our notes/textbooks for them too. And we can retake them as many time as we want within 3 days after the test date.

Does it ever get harder? I heard from Europeans that higher education in the USA was a joke but I didn't expect it to be true.

Another year at this community college and then 2 years at a university after I've transfered and I'll have my mechanical engineering degree then without ever having had to study hard. Hehe.

    Wait until uni, you'll see.

Just because you CAN use your notes on tests and other sorts of things doesn't mean that you HAVE TO. You can make it harder for yourself, and you will be better off once you get to a real university if you do.

fuck, I still have nightmare on open book exam, in university, if the prof ever ask you openbook or closedbook, pick the closedbook. Fucking openbook exam man. Community college is a cash grab, all sort of idiot goes there, if you make it too hard, they drop out, no more people to pay for class. There you go.

This. A lot of professors are sadists. If you ask them for an open book exam, it will be 20 times harder than the closed book one would have been.

Op, Community College is easy now, but wait until you get into a University (I will assume you're going to be a transfer student?)

Don't take CC for granted, just try to have as much fun as possible in it.

I attend some lectures with a girl I was attracted to, and the prof is a joke. I wouldn't hire that guy to wash my car, text books are more or less dumb down, shorten science text. Cost a bunch though. Some class where you work with your hand is hit or miss, some intructors are awesome, some are just pure wtf.

Its actually by far and away the best in the world. England is second best and no other country is even remotely close.

The difficulty of admission to an institution is directly proportional to the difficulty of its classes. The exams have to be suited to output a normal distribution of grades.
