    Journals are useless.
Just read a goddamn newspaper instead.

New Scientist is complete trash and nothing but pop science. I remember in the past they kept having pointless articles about Second Life, making it out to be some futuristic alternative reality word...

In a more recent issue, the mathematics article was not actually about mathematics, but contrivedly trying to find metaphors for complex numbers in Alice in Wonderland.

I read that article, it was actually rather good. It may not of actually belonged in a scientific journal, but it was hardly contrived given the circumstances of the author and the time he was writing.

Well I read the ones that come with my science course for people interested in extra reading and I read new scientist because my college library has a subscription. Don't read scientific American much because the import is unreliable.
    >> Anonymous 02/06/10(Sat)19:39 No.206853
Used to read Discover and SciAm, but realized there was too much filler and too little pure science. Also, some of the articles are years behind.
