Your theory of folding space and creating tunnels in between is invalid. Why?
A) The energy required to do so is non-existant
B) It's not just you that's gonna be traveling through those holes. Gravity will pass them aswell and create something you'd call "black hole".
C) The idea is valid, it's gonna take less time to get from A to B if you go through the tunnel. However, you forget that space itself first has to travel the hole way.
