When I was very young, I thought my racist grandfather was an asshole. Then I joined the Navy. At first, in boot camp, it was extremely difficult to avoid reverting to the ways my racist grandfather had tried to instill in me. Shortly after boot camp, I learned a lot about the "average black man"'s work ethic, and I fell into my grandfather's ways fully.

We could end this bullshit tomorrow if all black babies born to families making less than $20,000 a year were taken and given up for a rapid, cheap, simple adoption process to anyone who earns enough. To get back on topic, the reason why African-American children are tough to teach especally in the inner cities and certain areas are due to a variety of reasons:

1. The Culture of Poverty: They are so used to the culture of poverty to cope with the situation , that they don't care less about their future. To them, there is no real opportunity outside of where they live. That is why you have high rates of crime, teen pregnancy and all sorts of shit.

2. Acting White mentality: In every area where you have this problem, there will be always the few who will rise above the situation. But they have to hide it lest they become bullied for acting white.
