07/24/10(Sat)18:51 No.1477447Born
the 5th child of an Argentinian family, I grew up to be religious and a
teacher's aide. All that changed when I met Teodoro and eloped to
Brazil. The first few years were trying, he wouldn't get off his
ass. I started smoking and became an alcoholic. All that changed when
he got drafted, after his tour of duty he became a scavenger and
brought in a little money. Enough to emigrate to Mexico and have 2
sons, Ignacio and Alejandro. It convinced me to give up my bad habits. Alejandro grew up fast, moved out and got married and had kids. Ignacio
on the other hand had a troubled life. He graduated college with a
Music Degree, but failed the entrance exam to grad school. It all went
downhill from there, his boyfriend Angel got him into drugs. I thought our emigration to the Bahamas might loosen him up but he slipped further into apathy. I
died age 76 from my second stroke, leaving a 75 year old Teodoro behind
(health 31 though, good luck to him), with a 40 year old, unemployed,
but thankfully cold turkeyed, Ignacio still living with us. |
