 Cannot say what electricity
itself is like? Bollocks. I've met him. The following is my story:
"Hello?"
Nothing, just static on the line. "Hello."
A crackly voice
answered "Yes, hello, I'm here."
"Hi, is this electricity?"
"Well,
yes, but it's E. Lectricity. I fail to understand why few people have
the capacity to understand it. Just a little inductive reasoning would
show that any normal fellow should be able to gather that I have a
normal, full name. I face a lot of resistance trying to change that
conception, so I've given up. But I digress. How may I help you?"
"Sorry,"
I hesitated, unsure if my needs had the potential to go forward, "it's
just that my friend said that you could make things happen."
He
chuckled softly, "Why yes, I can. I'm sure friends like Ben and Kirchoff
have summarily shown that. I'll tell you what. Let's meet at a little
place called 'The Source.' Go inside and take the elevator to ground.
There's a nice little table in the back. See you in 15 minutes." |
