It shouldn't have to be complicated or religious or spiritual.Its about reducing stress.Meditation originally means sitting in silence.It doesn't have to be any more complicated then that.Just sit in silence and concentrate on your breating, but don't try to control it, just observe it.If you have thoughts rushing through your head don't try to stop them or anything just keep concentrating on your breating.Do this for 10 minutes or so.You'll feel relaxed.

Normal mental thought for me feels like fighting. Sometimes I lose, & it hurts to think about some things. When I'm in a good mood, I win most of the time. When I meditate, I don't need to fight at all.

I have the highest Mental Clarity directly after having sex or when I finish a drawing. Just me, though. Sex usually leads to another drawing, which leads to another, ad infinitum.
