what's good with moot nowadays
>>
He's funding some parts of reddit last I heard (reason why he unblocked the word)
>>
Yeah, reddit has their dick so far up his ass he can't brush his teeth.
>>
Reddit is better than 4chan in content but worse in layout, rules, and the karma system. 4chan has such a bad community, that shit doesn't even matter. We also have captcha, which is a bigger pain than karma.

If moot is cooperating, then it's a surrender. They've cornered the imageboard market (although Reddit isn't technically an imageboard, its users often post images so it's an easy competitor to *chan sites).

I don't think 4chan will be around much longer. Sure, another chan will be created mimicking it, but it will never be the same.

>Not enough funding
>Small cult userbase that often treats itself as a secret club
>Difficult to draw in new posters
>>
Lol, I remember him posting in /fit/ so many times last year, talking about progress.

He still looks like shit.

Those things have always been true about 4chan. What's killing 4chan is the fact that now there's moderation and shit. What made 4chan appealing to people was that it was the imageboard where pretty much anything went.

Pretty sure he unfiltered reddit because the bastardized forms of it (leddit, redd1t) were much more annoying

The karma system is worse than captcha, and they have moderation on top of that. The place isn't conducive to rational arguments or even just normal conversation because if you don't agree with the majority you're hidden.

I think it has more to do with the popularity of imageboards and the like in general.

People who would never find nor want to visit 4chan are now heading to Reddit and 9dad en masse. After they're socialized and they find some memes funny, they start exploring 'the deep dark web' and end up on /b/ or something, making sure to tell all their friends and buy some troll face shirts and following that bastardized cause-focused anonymous on twitter. Although this happened to an extent before, reddit has gone 'acceptably mainstream' which really allows its word-of-mouth to spread. 4chan will be soon to follow, and I'm predicting a lot more posters who want us to check our privilege.

This. It's stupid and boring. Why would I want to read the same exact commented parroted by 100 different users seeking for upboat karma or whatever the fuck? I don't understand people that defend reddit at all. There is no discussion, it's just someone making a comment in the hopes that the masses "approve" of it and then a bunch of dicksuckers commenting on how funny it was. I've seriously never seem a discussion on reddit. It's a circlejerk, that's what it is.

I don't understand the redditfags that come here to tell us 4chan is a circlejerk. They clearly haven't been on here long enough to know that opinion can be swayed.

The thing about exercise is that 'gains' quickly fade. It's easier to just be an unhealthy pos.

Also from what I've seen the people there are really fucking high and mighty, and self important with it. I was reading one of those AMAs, I forget who it was with, and some guy asked a question. The celebrity didn't respond but some random person did. That sort of summed up reddit to me, it's like twitter, where people think other people give a shit about what they have to say.

I think the worst part was when I saw someone contribute to a thread with a funny story and they had signed up yesterday and they were drastically downvoted and called a troll for being new by like, dozens or users because of their sign-up date.

Retarded.

Yep. I only went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago when Arrested Development relaunched, they post some interesting things baout it sometimes but the comments are truly awful.
