This is your way out, robots. This is the end of all advice/frustration/confusion/regret-based threads.
>>
Reading some shitty PDF online book won't change how you feel and who you are, OP.
>>
i had it lying on my hd for ages. god, it's just so much i never got myself to read it.
>>
Damn I read this years ago

It's actually pretty good advice if I remember correctly. Cool writing style

Too bad I never applied any of the stuff in it though
>>
>>5591542

Says the guy hasn't read it.

>>5591548

Wow, man. You should read it, it's seriously not that much. Do you shy from anything difficult? I've noticed something about doing difficult things: you will. never. regret them. If your goal is to not lead a life you'll regret, you're best guide will be to do what's difficult. I don't want to post it because it's so old, but haven't you seen the video of the fatass that does yoga and regains the ability to walk?
>>
>>5591567

Sounds like you're treating "never" as a permanent state. Apply it now. Or are you doing something much more important with your time?
>>
>waiting for PDF to load
This better not be some PUA bullshit OP

>first page "sosuave.net"
Kill yourself OP.
>>
>>5591600
Yea probably should read it again and start applying it to my life
>>
>>5591635

If you would have read the first chapter you would have read that it is specifically NOT pua, and the author rails on pua the entire time.

But you can feel free to believe falsely all you want; it's gotten you so much so far, right?
>>
What the fuck is a pook?
>>
> reading a book with a chapter called "How to Talk to Girls"
> any year > 10,000 BC
>>
>>5591664

It seems to be the authors nickname, though it is never specified. It's a bit off-putting, but irrelevant.
>>
>>5591524 (OP)
Fuck the knockoff.

Here's the real meat.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/34551310/The-Principles-That-Govern-Social-Interaction
>>
>>5591677
It's so relevant, the book is called "Book of Pook". I would assume the whole thing is about pook. I need to know whether or not pook is something I'm interested in before I get into it.
>>
>>5591674

You've actually briefly summarized a very obvious, very apt point that the author makes.
>>
>>5591693

Pook was a poster on some shitty PUA forum who basically preached the antithesis to PUA, and this is chronicled in the Book of Pook.
>>
>>5591577
>Thinking a book can change what you have become/have always been
Sure, it might be able to tell you how to do something and what others are like, but it won't change how you think or what you want.

Meaning, I, and many others here have no use in this book.
>>
>>5591729
>it won't change how you think or what you want.
It does though
It's a very logically sound and interesting read. It's not like other PUA stuff because it attacks your own self-perception, rather than just laying out a robotic procedure for nailing women.

In other words, it encourages you to fix yourself and inspire desire in others by how you carry yourself naturally rather than putting on an act.
>>
>sosuave.net forum dump
>table of contents packed with PUA jargon
>"it's not PUA"

Fuck off OP, you and PUA are literally the worst form of scum.

There are plenty of paths to self improvement, PUA is the dark path, beset on all sides by scam artists selling overcomplicated lies and bullshit to frustrated men.

There are better ways to become less of an autist, R9K. you don't have to wade through a book that consists of fucking forum dumps of all things.
>>
Pook is a form of Vietnamese fried pork, his book has over 300 pages of recipes. I mastered a few and managed to call a few girls over, they loved it and I finally got laid. Thank you Bien Nguyen(master of pook)
>>
>>5591729

Understand that I am NOT saying this simply to counter your point: learning through literature is quite literally more responsible for changing the way I think, live, and feel more than any other one factor. Philosophy, mainly. No, I'm not some edgy-pseudo-philospoher; I'm someone who has been thinking very deeply and earnestly for years, and it led me to a lot of dark conclusions, but I followed through in my thinking and it honest to god saved me from a future which still makes me cringe to imagine. It ALL happened inside, and now it's changing the outside.

>Reading the What every skinny guy should know... Chapter
>He claims that skinny people are afraid of getting fat and because of that they don`t eat enough to build a strong body and that woman actually wants the strong (even if fat) man

Well, this is ridiculous. I was swimming competitively for eight years, my body was always around 185lbs and 6`4`` and when i dropped out i started to do weightlifting. I am around 210lbs now, with a lot more bodyfat but also a lot stronger and i never get compliments about my body like i used to get. Of course if you are skinny in the point of resembling a child instead of a man you won`t attract that kind of mature confident woman i guess, but he`s ridiculous in his generalizations. Also, something that i can assure you is that woman don`t notice that much difference in size among man, for a woman its all about how much bodyfat you have.
>>
>>5591759

I'm sorry you're so set on that conclusion, because if you were to actually read this thing you would prove yourself wrong.

But so be it.
>>
>>5591791
That may be so

But there are better books than this pile of wank
>>
>>5591799

Your last point is interesting since lower body fat percentage is one of the main factors in encouraging testosterone production.

That's a long chapter, you haven't finished it. Finish it and then refer back to the point I just made.
>>
how about you stop being a faggot?
>>
>>5591840

The testosterone argument doesn't makes sense. Beard for example is highly affected by the testosterone level in your blood but most girls don`t like beards.
>>
Reading is for faggots.

This DVD helped me far more than reading anything on sosuave

I'm working through this book because I am interested in seeing what it covers. The format isn't the best, but I've found a few gems.

"Opportunities are brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
>>
>>5591799
You know, if he wants to be overweight and get attractive women, i'm fine with that.

Cute girls are better anyways. In fact i'm glad he made this book. More cute girls for me.
>>
>>5591931

Most girls agree that guys can't dress themselves; most girls don't like being cheated on; most SAY they don't like "assholes" (guys that let their testosterone practically control them).

Even muscles aren't what they're after. Testosterone has an interesting cyclical function; the more muscle you have, the more test your body produces; the more risks you take and danger you face, the more test. Meanwhile, testosterone makes you behave in a way as to take risk and face danger; it encourages muscle growth.

I'm saying all that to drive home the point that it's not the muscles, or as you put it, the beard that girls are after. It's even more simple. Testosterone makes you into more of a male, and a female needs a male. It's the most basic biology.
>>
>>5591986

Glad to hear it.

Robots, what in the actual fuck do you have to lose? It's a celebrated fact on this board that the answer to that is NOTHING.
>>
>>5592002
>pseudorambling barely touching upon the physiological functioning of test. in the body
>It's the most basic biology.
Kill yourself.
>>
>>5592049

You all know the nature of these types of posts, I won't be answering them.
>>
>>5592002

>spend 1 hour doing hair
>wear uggs and sweat pants

Girls are retarded and don't know shit about fashion
>>
>>5592002

To elaborate a bit more on this, the more important aspect of testosterone is how it effects what you do. As I said, testosterone encourages risk taking, and acting before thinking about the consequences. When you see a girl you'd like to talk to, or if you're already talking to a girl you like, you're first thoughts go to the consequences. When you're a bit more of an "asshole," that hindrance isn't so prevalent.

Girls don't understand how a guy can go up to someone and have the balls to show immediate interest and be open to rejection. Testosterone enables the actions that guys do, and girls cannot into. It's what girls don't have, and it's what they want to CATCH (you're the catch).
>>
Yes robots, an instruction manual to human interaction is def. your salvation.
>>
>>5592194
...it just comes down to how much testosterone you have?
>>
>>5592194
If that's true, then why don't they have testosterone pills?

No, it doesn't. I was answering that poster's questions about that specific section of the pdf. Testosterone is necessary - that should be the most obvious thing in the world.

Most guys are afraid of their testosterone (the behavior it promotes), and that has a lot to do with feminism, which is not a war against men as much as it is an overall suppression of sexuality. Thus, true sexuality has given way to the counterfeit of simple mutual masturbation strictly behind closed doors - almost an enactment of some porn scene. Why was even showing a bit of leg back in the day so taboo? Nowadays it's about showing as much as you can.

That points to what at first seems to be a counter-intuitive notion, which is that we NOW are suppressing sexuality. It's similar to something Zizek said about love. In our times, it's becoming more and more of an event to say "the L-word" to someone you're dating. We literally have come to call it the L-bomb.

So does our version of the word love not include everything it always has in our language? No, it's always been the same. The difference is to us, now, it almost means too much. WE believe in it, more than ever. Take that effect and apply it to our current version of sexuality; isn't it an inversion of that same principle?
>>
>>5592420

Because increasing testosterone isn't that simply. Remember what I stated in the post? ACTING like you have testosterone is the best way to promote testosterone in your body, which then becomes your nature, and not an act.

There are other factors included in producing more testosterone, the most obvious being diet.
>>
>>5592158
>spend 1 hour doing hair
>wear expensive, comfortable boots and popular, stylish, warm for winter months, leggings
The more you know, faggot.
>>
I'm reading this PDF now. It's pretty amazing. I wish I had read this at the start of college before my first girlfriend.
>>
>>5592746

It's something I'm very very glad I stumbled across which is why I want to spread it.
>>
>>5593039
Best part is understanding that you don't need to flirt and the girl is not more important than your hobbies. I need to stop talking about music and philosophy to girls and just let them back seat on my grand adventures this year.
