offended by your post, or bothered by it. And well, I'm not on welfare
so I can't really comment personally on it.
I do have a sister,
however, who has some form of government benefits. I suppose it is
welfare. Anyway, one day she asked me to buy something for her, using a
benefits card (money provided by some sort of a program). I felt so
horrible and low doing it, like I was leeching from society (even if the
goods weren't for me), but I did it for her anyway because she's my
sister and I care for her. I didn't have cash at the time, but if I
did.. I would've secretly used cash.
I really hate doing anything
stereotypical.
But anyway, I think it'd be good if somehow there
was welfare reform. lol. >wut welfare
reform
I don't know too much about welfare, but I think
the money given to those who rely on welfare should be earned through
working. Doesn't matter if it's hard work, community, service, or
miscellaneous crap. But some sort of work. Having them do work, even if
just a little, in exchange for the same money they normally get from
welfare.. would be good for society as a whole and themselves. They'd be
contributing as they take and may not have such a negative rep.
But
again, I don't know much about how the welfare system works or if such
an idea would make much sense. But I've thought about it multiple times
before.
>>8824899 Lol,
I once called blacks "Niggers". I was being racist toward my own
people, but in a jokingly manner. Whites loved it, Hispanics loved it,
even some blacks loved it. So really, I'm 100% cool with the word.
Still,
I might become a bit upset if it's used in a way meant to make me feel
like shit. I was using it to show that it shouldn't be taken seriously
and that it's not always so bad depending on the intent.
But I
mean, I did that back during 11th grade. Stopped with the jokes after an
incident. |
