Allow me to give another perspective to the situation... What is happening is that requirements for jobs are increasing because more things are automated and other work is usually being outsourced. It might not necessarily be "feed the lazy" but feed the inopportune. Once a society reaches a point when most things are automated and there are only room for a few company owners what will happen? This is playing devil's advocate but I enjoy it. I also realize this is a very general and situational view of how things work.
