I've been on r9k since day one as well. Really, this has been the only board I've come to on 4chan ever since /v/ and /a/ both have turned into a pseudo-/b/.

I don't see a point in making yet another /b/ when there are already more than 3 of equivalents. But, I haven't come to this board more than a few minutes a day since moot decided to invade it. Even when /r9k/ was at its worse (camwhore threads and poll threads everywhere) , it was still a lot better than this (although the preteens spouting memes will object). I come on hoping that there might be an interesting thread, but I usually just leave after a few minutes, slightly nauseous.

I don't treat internet message/image boards like sacred ground, but this used to be a pretty funny place. Whatever ideas moot had for it... are never going to happen and he should just destroy the board if he doesn't like it.

Personally, the only board I really like is /r9k/, and to be honest, m00t made it better. I've been around since it's creation, and all those relationship and advice threads ran it into the ground. They might be original content, but they are completely fucking unoriginal or interesting to anyone except high school/college hipsters and roneryfags. Hence /r9k/, "a gangbang of whining". m00t wanted to salvage the only board with potential to be random, but not a repost of a repost of a repost.
