So I just came here from /v/, quite depressed about the state of things. I hate the people who make threads on /v/ about how much tripfags suck, cancer, etc. (even though I usually agree) so I'd rather make a thread here, since it's pretty much just a whatever board. Not sure what I'm expecting as a response, maybe just conversation about ways to try to combat the problem without adding to it.
Just don't post in shit threads.
How about you delete this thread and instead of bitching start an original thread that will have a point.
>>8654257But what about threads that are fine, but then someone posts a "U MAD" picture in response instead of an actual response?
>>8654272Bam. Fucking this.
>>8654272How about this is /r9k/ and the point is quite clearly stated, regardless of if you care or not.
/v/ needs mods. Lots of mods. The kids doing the doubles threads didn't leave, they're just doing other shit to entertain themselves. Most of them probably don't know how to evade bans anyway, so moot just needs to get a few mods like the one on /k/ to lay down the fucking law.
Now isn't the best time to come to r9k, btards are all over the place and it's generally shit.Give it a few weeks to go back to normal.
>>8654310Yeah, I guess it'll just take time.>>8654314Sorry if I fucked up your board more with a bawwwwing thread.
>>8654332It wasn't a doubles thread, it wasn't you asking what this board is for, and you weren't trying to call all the old r9kers newfags.People like you I can stand man.As for combating the cancer you can't, 4chan is too mainstream now and too mnay normal people are on it, so for only /b/ and /v/ are overrun, if we're unlucky we'll lose r9k to them too.Eventually all the boards will be hipster faggotry, even /a/ and /jp/ will eventually fall to the btards we have now.Only way out id to find a new *chan.
>>8654397Although on that note m00t could take a massive risk and do something insane, such as having a forced background for /b/ as a kitten being killed or something, most of the shitty userbase would be disgusted and leave, but moot needs to ad revenue. So he won't.
>>8654397>>8654450Ah thanks dude. And yeah, it's pretty much unsalvageable. I just feel like if we had enough bros just specifically ignore troll threads and not be douches to one another, eventually they assholes would leave because they are not getting feed, ya know? But again, you're right, the bro/ho ratio is way favoring the hos.
>>8654397>>8654450If it gets too shit, go to loopchan (dot) orgIt's /b/ is like a slow /r9k/ crossed with /b/ and it's normally pretty good, just needs more users.
