I started going to 4chan since August 2008. I just lurked on the imageboards, reading threads, saving them, and the pictures that I was interested in for weeks at a time. Since I've discovered DownThemAll (a Firefox Extension), downloading pictures became almost second nature. As 2009 came and gone, the amount of gigabytes on my 4chan folder just increased exponentially.Now it's 2010, and already my 4chan folder is 25.8 GB, and this is just late April! Most of the GB comes from me saving every picture in every thread I read or reply to.So I wonder how many people actually save threads and pictures on 4chan? I only keep images I particularly like. My /b/ folder is largest, at 567 MB

/s/ folder is the largest coming in at 7GB and 12,000 in something files, but that's including my videos section which has a few HD porn videos in the mix. All others are under 1 gig.I don't categorize my folders by boards. The only images I save are porn and memes.

I guess I'm just a junior archiver; 12.5 gigs, 47,000 images in 638 folders. The largest is definitely my /a/ folder at 8 gigs of the 12, 30,000 of the images and 300 of the folders. That's probably just because it has my Eva file in it. I could fill a dozen threads with TEH REI alone.

I still deeply regret that I haven't saved the pictures I've seen since the day I got here, besides those worth of archival. If I went like you (16 gigs per year or so), I'd have over 100 gigs of stuff by now.

I've been on 4chan since 2003, and even then I haven't saved that much shit, I have a folder of image macros, most old that I only use every so often since I don't use /b/ anymore. I have a folder of porn, a folder of cute/sexy/stalked girls, an Egg Girl folder, and the rest is comic book or /tg/ related images. I honestly never use 98% of it.
I don't have a 4chan folder because I am not nearly that well organized. My pictures folder is 172MB. 707 pictures.

My 4chan folder is roughly 200MB's. That's containing images from /tg/, /v/, /k/, and /sci/, along with miscellaneous shit like reaction images and the like.
i only have 198 MB on my /b/ folder. i should have more, but i usually clean shit out thats no longer funny or that was never rly good in the first place.
