Do brobots have a degree? If so, what grade degree did you get? If not, what are you predicted?
Currently studying Biology.
1st classhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_undergraduate_degree_classification#First-class_honoursI've never been asked what class/grade I achieved.
>>86087552:1 in ppe at oxfordcurrently doing an mba at harvard
Currently no.
>>8608831By employers you mean?I was in line for a first but have really messed up my final year project, will probably get a 2:2 or 2:1. Ironically it's because I'm a perfectionist, or perhaps I'm an idiot.
Studying CS, will prob win.
Studying History at an ex-polytechnic. Burger flipping awaits.
predicted 2.2 from bartlett school of architecture
Accounting and Finance degree here. I trade with a mid sized investment company.
Electronics Eng.
I studied natural sciences tripos (physical) at Cambridge university and got a 1st.Now I'm on 4chan. Hm.
>>8609087Not even burger flipping, bro. Get used to collecting Welfare.
Geography.What up.
dropped outplan on dying tomorrow.God speed, gentlemen
BSc Computer Science and MSc Risk Management & Financial Regulation
>>8609208Provide photographic evidence, otherwise it did not occur.
>>8609197Dear lord. Proof those degrees are crap if ever I needed it.
>>8609223lol have fun working for the SEC
Currently studying veterinary sciences.
Probably gonna get economics and administration, least t'll get me a job...
>>8609121I swear to Goodness if your initials are A.W. or M.L. and used to live near the place where punts go. You are gay.
>>8609121also fuck your 'BSc' in architecture, you should be getting a 'BA'.Bartlett ffffuuuu-10/10
I have a Master's in Library Science and a Master's in English.Seriously.
>>8609197Also studied tripos at Cambridge, although mine was biological. Kudos on the awesome degree.
One year away from MSc CS
>>8609348>>8609348>>8609348What exactly do you want to do as a career, to be honest thats a TERRIBLE combination
>>8609440wtf the bartlett is the best arch school in the uk
Education and Fine Arts.
psychology here. planning to become manager of a grocery store!
>>8609604Riddle me this? How can you get a Bachelors of Science in a subject which has no scientific method? Architecture is an art, it regards aesthetics and emotion.Structural engineers get BSc's.But yeah, Bartlett kids work hard.
Psychology and PhilosophyYes I am aware of my future numb nuts.
No degree yet. First year of college finishing up and I'm thinking of pursuing mathematics.
>>8609724Wanna be my assistant manager in the grocery store?
>>8609694where did/ do you go to arch school?
>>8609694Ever heard of math? Math is a huge portion of architecture.
>>8609789not really, the only maths ive ever done is pyth/trig
>>8609786Didnt. I know some people at the Baaaaatlett though.>>8609789Not so much from what I've seen, a few dimensions sure, but its hardly data analysis. Nice drawings and model though.
B.S.B.A in marketing...I work for walmart
Gonna finish my computer science BS next year. Life is pleasant.
u of minnesota, comp sci!
Bachelors in Physics. Getting my masters in Teaching this fall. Feels good man.
>>8609843Wat?Architecture only goes to trig...which is one step up from algebra....which is the most basic course my uni offers?
>>8609910Don't call yourself a "physicist." I hate when high school teachers call them selves stuff like that. A mere bachelors degree and teaching degree does not mean you are a physicist, or economist, or mathematician.
>>8609901Whatever you do, start your final year project early and finish it a full two Months before hand in. Seriously.
Don't have one yet, but im studying education, I would like to be a teacher
BSc in Microbiology and Cytology. Currently work as a chemical analyst at a industrial/government lab in the South East. If I wasn't a depressed fuck most of the time I'd give a "everythingwentbetterthanexpected.jpg*
BSc in Geology Bitches! The worst thing is I grew to hate it in my third year, kinda wasted my time. Still run my own business now so its all good
Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Information Systems
>>8609946That's actually kind of what I'm doing. My school has four terms (A through D). I'm doing my senior project A term through C term. My ONLY class D term is Intro to Biology. If I finish my project in C term, then I'll probably be a TA (or whatever the undergrad equivalent is) for the software engineering course, since I like that professor. If we somehow screw up, I'll still have D term to finish my project.
>>8609986CSFag here who feels the same way and also intends to run his own business. What industry are you in?
>>8609936Im just gonna call myself a physics teacher. I don't pretend to be able to do advanced quantum theory or any of that shit. Nah, i just want to teach the basics.
>>8609991Bachelor of Commerce? Where the hell are you getting your degree...Ferengenar?
In 2nd year of Economics degree. Plan on doing a masters in Health Economics then either work for government ,consultancy, or pharmaceutical company doing health economics. Thats the plan at least all depends on if I get funding for a masters or any other decent opportunities. Plus I'm writing a novel that will obviously make me a millionaire author.
Going into college next year, can't decide.I want to do something in history but from what I hear/see that's a bullshit degree.I don't want to go on and teach history classes for high schoolers who could really care less about learning
>>8610002A greater man than I.I'm just so tired of academic bullshit and office bullshit I left it to the last minute. Now I'll probably only get a 2:2. I need to figure out what I want from life and I don't think it's sitting in a cube, even though I love coding.
>>8608775hahahai feel sorry for you
ArchitecturePredicted high 2:2, maybe 2:1 if I pull my finger out this next month. Yet I find myself constantly on 4chan...
>>8609924what the fuck else did you expect? actually we do basic loading stuff too but its really not a very technical subject
>>8609598Its not really a combination. There's no such thing as just economics here. Its simply economics and administration.I was gonna study law but changes in school system fucked me over. Thanks for never telling me a shit any useless teacher.I really don't have many good choices, not enough points, I never took chemistr, physics or advanced math so I can't do anything which requires that.I just put in some random shit this year, economics, english, russian, radiology, psychology, and some other shit.
BA hons Philosophy & Religion - 2.1 (cock hair off a first, bastard!!!)MA Philosophy
>>8610108which school? i'm totally in the same boat
>>8610144What do you do now?
>>8610099My goal is to work from home, so I don't have to wear pants. A lot of software companies are open to employees working from home. I plan to boost my odds by getting a place that's walking distance from the office, so I could point out that I could easily make meetings.
>>8610018Saved up funds for business through working in mining(Geology side, not an actual miner ha)Then went into trading plumbing parts, my dad is a plumber you see. EXTREMELY lucrative market, you think plumbers rip you off? You have no idea how much we rip them off
>>8610218I've been thinking of an online store, particularly because paypal are offering cheap merchant accounts and I can hack together some good web/inventory/automation software, plus SEO stuff. I'd be happy doing that in my free time while working. Going to research this.
>>8610332I have a website too, since the business does well I need not plaster it with ads but if you so choose you can do well purely around traffic. Also(Britfag here) I used to import electronics from America and sell them for a decent profit here. Import tax is a bitch though
I did mathematics and got a 2:2. It's really not as hard a degree as it has a reputation as being. The only reason I did badly was due to extreme lack of work and never attending lectures. The modules I did work for ("hard" topics like Complex Analysis, Topology and Differential Geometry) I found were fairly easy to understand and I think most reasonably smart people could eventually understand them though perhaps with a little more work than me. I got firsts in all of them, too. Should also add this wasn't at a shit-tier uni either, its one of the main one investment banks recruit from (Warwick). But really though, I made a bad choice. I came out frustrated that I'd learnt no real skills in my time, other than generic shit like the ability to 'communicate' or be 'analytical' which tbh I think you'd do better picking up through a Philosophy or English Lit degree. I shoulda done Engineering, got some real skills.
Here in Britain lots of whacky degrees have sprung up, football study, even a wii study. At one place there was a golf bachelorette, everybody laughed when it first came out and the university got shit for it. Only one kid applied for the course. When he graduated he got a caddying job with a pro golfer earning a 6 figure salary, and everyone shut the fuck up.
Gonna finish getting my B.S in Psychology this summer. After I graduate I will live in my parent's basement :)
I am joint honours (Double major in Americaland) in Law and Philosophy. I'll probably get a first in philosophy, as I'm very good at it. Law...maybe a first, probably an upper second class.
>>8610507I think a lot of people have the same problems. I walked into the lab and completed what most people concidered the hardest programming assignment we ever had in only 6 hours. A tenth of the time most people took. But lazyness and apathy overcame me with most of my other assignments and I ended up with a 2:2. If I had just worked 1 full day a week I would have easily gotten a first.Lesson Learned.
Bachelor in law...just got it with...well... i got a third...but who cares i nao has a law degree so fuck you///curently looking for a suck ass uni like westminster or metropolitan to do my masters in EU law...
>>8610808A third? Really? Why so low?
BA from the Harvard of Canada. Working on A+ certificate that will actually bring me moneys. That or hustling.
>>8611073If you're talking about CompTIA A+, you're wasting your time, bro.
>>8611009I'm the law/philosophy fag a few posts back. Law is actually amazingly hard to get high grades in. You need to do utterly fantastic work to get anywhere in the B area. A C is doing pretty well, a B you can be pretty damn pleased with yourself, and an A you're pretty much in the top 5% of the course, probably less. I do Scottish Law, but I doubt it's very different for anywhere else.
>>8611009failed equity and trusts two times in a row my average was borderline low 22 and with the whole 40 average once you fail the module (got a 64 at the third time) it fucked me in the face tl;dr i smoked a lot of weed did a lot of e and my uni is one of the top in the uk...im even amazed how i got a degree to begin with...
