    File : 1272304853.jpg-(20 KB, 360x318, 2.jpg)
    20 KB so what Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:00:53 No.8602340
is the fucking difference between this and /b/?
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:01:29 No.8602347
/r9k/ is all the complaining without as much porn and spam
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:01:31 No.8602348
    there is no difference
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:01:37 No.8602351
    We're new.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:01:51 No.8602356
The robot stops us posting anything that has been posted before. moot reset it though for now
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:01:57 No.8602359
cuntwads don't know about my board rules
    >> Mike D 04/26/10(Mon)14:02:23 No.8602368
Strictly speaking, the difference is that posts too low in content, or whose content is identical to the content of a post made since the filter was last cleared, will be muted. The mute lasts a length of time beginning at 2 seconds and doubling each time. The same goes for duplicate images.

In terms of discussion content, however, effectively none since the notice was posted.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:03:08 No.8602384
    there's a filter.

also, there is a huge influx of btards now so you can't judge how this board is until they all leave.

but it is and always has been a more intellectual /b/.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:03:19 No.8602388
    op here

"You have been muted for 2 seconds, because your image was not original."

shit that is actually fucking cool! Implement this on /b/!
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:04:30 No.8602412
yes, it's now officially /b/ - moderated. enjoy.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:04:45 No.8602422
so essentially this is /b/ 2.0

oh god, i am a fag for using version numbers :(
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:05:31 No.8602434
i feel more adult and mature posting here. there seems to be less "op is a fag" and piss poor forced memes
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:05:58 No.8602446
There was a difference until all other boards were invited
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:06:06 No.8602449
I guess this one will be exatly like /b/ soon.

    Awesome picture btw op!

Arcanine is a reflection how /b/ was in the old days. When /b/ became pretty much a 18- spamshitboard all intellectuals fled to a better place.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:07:54 No.8602498
    >>8602384
/r9k/ is like riding a bicycle with training wheels while your parents are behind you holding onto the seat making sure you wont fall while you pass by the smelly hobo, and the sketchy drug dealer.

while /b/ is the sketchy drug dealer, the smelly hobo, and the pedophile parent... yes the parent was a pedo... and /b/ loves it.

/r9k/ is /b/ with a filtering system built into it that attempts to prevent the posting of copypasta. What it actually accomplishes is preventing unskilled retard anons from posting the copypasta that actually used to be interesting, so you end up with the more skilled anons posting copypasta with 1 pixel changed to defeat the filtering, and crappy 3rd rate shit, whine/bawwww threads, and other useless shit that won't even fly on /b/ being posted here. That's the difference.

tl, dr: it's /b/ without the interesting bits.
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:09:08 No.8602525
There is no difference. It used to be the board for bitching and whining about..well, anything.
    Now it's just /b/.

Moot, why? Was our whining truly that terrible?
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:10:15 No.8602545
    >>8602340
Well it WAS a board with somewhat intelligent discussion until moot posted that goddamn notice. Now, its just /b/ with a filter. Fuck you moot!
    >> Anonymous 04/26/10(Mon)14:11:18 No.8602569
