    /r9k/ was for the original purpose was for creating original content via the filter. But the original content was a lot more deeper than more creative memes. Instead there were threads about life and society, relationships, and sociology. The main difference is that it is what /b/ is supposed to be "...where people discuss random topics" without the forced and overused memes.

    But due to a certain chain of events that happened last night, the bad stuff of the board (the relationship and the baw topics), has been effectively forced out of this board and into /adv/, thus giving new life to /r9k/.

    But hopefully while the relationship topics are almost gone, I hope to see a mix of the new topics and the old topics (about life and society and sociology) in the new era of /r9k/
