Why shouldn't suburbanites be afraid of cities?

i say keep 'em scared. cities are expensive enough as it is. can't have them moving back in with their retard-high incomes.

I'm an urbanite and I'm afraid of the suburbs. They're so creepy and empty that if something bad were to happen to me, nobody would be around to hear.

This sounds like people who grew up in more rural areas and were forced to move to the city. So they move to the suburbs and they're still scared every time they see a bum or someone who's not a cracker.

The drivers suck
The people are apathetic morons
The place has absolutely no natural beauty and is just concrete slab after concrete slab
Everybody there is trying to screw you over
They have a much higher concentration of sick fucks.

I went to high school in the suburbs and all the kids were obsessed with moving to the city ASAP. And most of them did go through with it.

It actually kinda bothers me, because unlike them, I don't have rich parents willing to subsidize the rent of an inner-Seattle apartment. So I'm stuck in this basement across the sound forever.
