I have absolutely no idea. Every time I rage at a misogyny thread I ask myself the same question - it's stupid for me to be here. But I guess I'm just that bored. And 'girls can't be lonely' aside, I'm pretty much just as much of a socially inept loser as the rest of these neckbeards.

/r9k/ (and many of the other boards on 4chan) usually has at least one or two threads going at all times that I enjoy. Yes, the other 80% on the front page bore me, but that's no reason to run off when there's still *something* to be enjoyed. That's why I stay on this imageboard.

The misogyny doesn't bother me; I agree with some of the tamer/milder/more reasonable opinions, and I recognize that the extreme ones are either trolls or a few extremists shouting their heads off via text. You're gonna deal with stupid shit like that anywhere and everywhere, so there's no point in leaving something you enjoy just because of that. It's really easy to brush that stuff aside and move along. Hell, sometimes I'm in a mood where it amuses me.

The porn doesn't stand out to me. It's just another picture, just like some abstract design of neon colors on a black background or some cat with a caption. Even before I stumbled across 4chan, the human body didn't bother me. Pictures of naked people didn't take any getting used to.

Nobody is going to change their minds on the matter, so there is little use in arguing or getting upset about it. No idea what editing program I'm supposed to use. I used Premiere in high school, but I'm sure there are better. Don't have a Mac so I can't use Final Cut.

Also: Trying to decide on a major for college at the moment. My mind has been set on film for a while, but I'm sure it'll result in a worthless degree. Thinking about double majoring in film and math, but I haven't done anything math related in years, even though math shit comes to me easily. Plus I'm a third year, so who knows how much fucking longer I'd have to be here.
