Heh,
agreed. The sad thing is, in my opinion, I don't think it'll be gone in
the next 5 years. I always thought it was a fad, like the now
non-existent Myspace although that has just died due to the popularity
of Facebook. I signed up to it only to deactivate my account after 6
weeks or so. I don't give a fuck if some people who I never see, nor
would I talk to them if I did see them, want to add me on Facebook. I
don't care about girls who I used to go to school with having their 3rd
beige baby in a matter of 3 years all to different men. I don't want to
accept your shitty little application about being a werewolf or vampire,
nor do I give a shit if you like my status. Bottom line for me is
this. If you have my e-mail address [which I forwarded to all the people
I would consider true friends on Facebook] then you can contact me via
that. And I have a mobile phone. Works for me and I've never been "left
out of the loop" with my friends. I prefer to socialise in the real
world and see my friends face to face. |
